Goal –
The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People 第二章是 Begin with the End in Mind。
Jump –
I am a star –
喊出一句 We are stars。
Why does she dress like a dancer? She is not a member of a pet NGO. Why did she take a picture with a cat on the Time magazine cover? She fell deeply into the failure of the Cats movie. She spent a whole year practicing as a cat. Despite her hard work, the box office result was tremendously disappointing. Today, she wants to show the whole world, that she has risen from the grave. She is a precious pop singer. However, she chooses to dress like a cat. She reminds the Time magazine audience that she used to be a dancer. Most people would like to cheer up with her success. But not everyone can embrace her in the dark period. The Time’s cover can teach you a lesson. There is no rainbow and sunshine quite often. All you have to do is to get hit and keep moving forward. That is how winning is done.

Ahead of a visit from UNHCR Special Envoy Angelina Jolie, 28-year-old Venezuelan indigenous Wayuu asylum-seeker, María Moreno Gonzalez, looks after her children (left to right) Dalimar, 7, Jesús Lozano, 10, Diego, 7 months, Darwin, 3, Delinis, 6, and Dayana, 5, at the Integrated Assistance Centre, in Maicao, Colombia. ; On a two-day visit to Colombia, UNHCR Special Envoy Angelina Jolie met refugees, returnees and government officials. In Maicao, ten kilometres from the Venezuelan border, she visited the Integrated Assistance Centre, which hosts Venezuelan refugees and migrants (as well as Colombian returnees and the bi-national indigenous Wayuu population) for stays of up to 30 days. The centre currently provides 350 highly vulnerable people with shelter, food, legal assistance, activities for children, medical assessments and psychosocial support. Over 4 million Venezuelans are now living in exile, with Colombia hosting the greatest share, even while implementing a peace deal ending five decades of conflict within its own borders. Jolie met President Iván Duque in Cartagena to express her gratitude to the government and people of Colombia.
“They smashed everything – the doors, the windows, the equipment. They even ripped out the curtains.” Head nurse, Jamilla Amadou, 50, treats patients at the Centre de Santé de Référence hospital in Gao. ; Jamilla Amadou is one of many residents returning to Gao, the desert city on the banks of the Niger where extremists caused thousands to flee in 2012. She is head nurse at the region’s sole hospital. She also accommodates displaced women and children at her home, where she is the head of an extended household. Between 20 and 30 women sleep on mats in Jamilla’s spare rooms having abandoned their hometown of Hombori, where they once grew millet and tobacco until Islamist fighters destroyed the crops. In Gao, bombings and shootouts have made a return to normal life difficult. But with EU-funding and UNHCR support, returnees are rebuilding their homes, livelihoods and infrastructure.
UNHCR staff at Picoco camp in Beira, Mozambique receive a shipment of solar lanterns, to distribute to people displaced by Cyclone Idai. ; Cyclone Idai is the largest ever to hit Africa. It made landfall near the Indian Ocean port city of Beira on 14 March 2019, wreaking havoc with 170mph winds and flood waters covering over 3,000 square kilometres. UNHCR is working with governments and humanitarian partners to send tents, tarpaulins, solar lanterns, cooking utensils and other emergency aid for tens of thousands of refugees and internally displaced persons who lost their homes and livelihoods when Idai’s torrential rain and flooding swept across Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Malawi.
